LotRO　オープンベータ開始まで1日

いよいよ明日から"The Lord of the Rings Online -Shadows Angmar-"のオープンベータテストが開始される。

クローズドベータを体験した感想は、原作や映画を知ってる人なら楽しめる出来になってるものの、単にMMOとしてプレイするなら物足りないと感じるかもしれない。

ソロでも序盤(レベル15位？)は小さいクエストをこなせばレベルはさくさく上げる事が出来るのでプレイ時間があまりとれない人でも大丈夫と思う。当然、フェローシップ(パーティ)し、何度の高いクエストに挑戦するのもソロとは違った楽しみがある。

ただ、ソロの場合は選んだクラスによって難易度に差が出るので注意が必要かもしれない。更にサーバ分けが単なる並行世界ではなく、簡単に言えば、"世間一般のMMOタイプ"、"ロールプレイ"、"特殊クエスト" の3種類用意されるので安易にサーバ選択をしない方が良いだろう。

特に"ロールプレイ"のサーバではLotRの世界の住人になりきるプレイが必要となる。単にクラスの役割をこなすだけでは駄目、という。可能ならばLotRの命名規則にしたがってキャラクターネームをつけたいところ。

期待と不安の入り混じり、早く遊びたいと気持ちが逸るが、今週末はチケット取りとイベント参加があるのでオープンベータへの参加は来週以降になりそうだ・・・
